French daredevil Remi Lucidi “dies after falling off a skyscraper in Hong Kong”

According to the South China Morning Post, Remi Lucidi,30, was last observed Thursday pounding on the window of a penthouse on the 68th story of the 721ft (219m) Tregunter Tower.

After observing the 30-year-old outside the window where Mr. Lucidi was allegedly trying to get assistance before falling, a building maid reportedly phoned the police.

According to police, the daredevil, known online as Remi Enigma, had already fallen when they arrived.

According to reports, Mr. Lucidi’s sports camera, which held recordings of extreme activities, and his French ID card were discovered at the scene. Police did not release the identity of the 30-year-old man whose body was discovered on a patio in the city’s Mid-Levels neighborhood. A source told that “preliminary investigation suggested the man was an extreme sports enthusiast.”

It’s probable that while engaging in an extreme activity , he became stranded outside the penthouse and knocked on the window for assistance before accidently falling to his death.

In the posh Mid-Levels neighborhood of Hong Kong, Mr. Lucidi reportedly entered the Tregunter Tower at around 6 p.m. on Thursday and told a security guard he was meeting a friend on the 40th floor.

CCTV purportedly captured him exiting the 49th-level elevator and again ascending the stairs to the top floor, where a door had apparently been forced open. He was last seen by a maid knocking on a penthouse window at around 7.30 p.m., according to the South China Morning Post.On July 24, Mr. Lucidi made his farewell Instagram post, a picturesque image taken from a skyscraper in Hong Kong’s Times Square.

Reports state that he entered a hostel in Hong Kong on July 17.

Gurjit Kaur, the proprietor of the hostel, told the Post that Lucidi kept to himself but was a “friendly and humble guy” when they chatted.

On Saturday, she remarked, “He was healthy, fit, and happy-faced.”

Mr. Lucidi has previously uploaded pictures of himself standing on top of large structures in places including Paris, Dubai, and Thailand.

Fellow urban explorers paid tribute to Mr. Lucidi in remarks on his Instagram, with one writing: “Rip brother. Sad news regarding a fellow explorer is never something anyone wants to hear.

Another user wrote: “Bro went out doing what he loved! He made the most of every moment. Not many people can say that.”
